Commission a Custom Painting

Thank you for your interest in a custom painting! I love working with folks to create personalized watercolor paintings that they can enjoy for years to come. My clients have enjoyed gifting these paintings for weddings, birthdays, and housewarming gifts, as well as keeping them for themselves. Many of my clients are outdoorsy folks who love having a painted memory in their home. I can’t wait to make a painting for you!

To get started, send me an email at watercolorwanderer@gmail.com with the option you would like and a clear reference photo. Once we nail down what you want me to paint, I’ll send an invoice and a contract. When you’ve paid the invoice and signed the contract, I start on your painting! I’ll send you a photo of the initial sketch to make sure you’re happy with the composition before I get too far, and I’ll send you another photo when I’m just about finished to get your final approval. After approval, I package it safely and send it to you via USPS Priority mail. Depending on my current commission load, the whole process takes 2-6 weeks. I’m so excited to work with you to make the perfect custom painting for you!

The Favorite Landscape

Exactly what it sounds like- this is a watercolor and ink painting of your favorite place in nature! Whether it’s your local park, the vista from your favorite mountain, or your favorite stretch of the Long Trail, you will love your watercolor landscape painting.

The Adventure Portrait

This painting combines a beautiful landscape painting with a portrait of your favorite human or pet! An Adventure Portrait makes a great gift for a wedding or other exciting event. Turn an important memory into a beautiful painting that you’ll enjoy for years to come! Up to two creatures (any combination of people and pets) are included; there is an additional fee for more creatures.
